PHILLIPS GROUP AWARDED FURNITURE CONTRACT FOR HARRISBURG UNIVERSITY

The Phillips Group has been awarded a contract to provide interior furnishings for Harrisburg University of Science and Technology’s new Academic Center. The furniture will be used in classrooms, conference rooms, waiting areas, the library and other areas in the 16-story Academic Center, 326 Market St., Harrisburg. Harrisburg University offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in applied science and technology fields. 

PHILLIPS GROUP GOLF CLASSIC RAISES $61,505 FOR CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION

The Phillips Group Golf Classic raised $61,505 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Central Pennsylvania Chapter. The amount included a $10,000 contribution from The Phillips Group, which has supported the event for the past decade and has been title sponsor for the past four years. Ninety-six golfers participated in the event, which took place Aug. 11 at Colonial Country Club in Harrisburg. Two Phillips employees have children with cystic fibrosis, an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. Phillips donates Local Breast Cancer Charity

Phillips held an employee fund-raiser luncheon on Sept. 18 that was attended by Leigh Hurst, a Middletown native, breast cancer survivor and founder of Feel Your Boobies. 

Phillips donates to HACC

The Phillips Group recently donated $30,000 to Harrisburg Area Community College.
